Vienna And A Fisheye Lens

Every time I plan a trip to Vienna, Austria my heart trembles in anticipation. There is a connection between this wonderful city and me. The first sparkles were exchanged back in 1986 when I made my first trip behind the Iron Wall (a term both capitalists and communists widely used in that time).

Vienna offers so much for the soul – the grandeur of the Hofburg & Schönbrunn palaces; the variety of art collections displayed in Belvedere, Secession & Museumsquartier; the fact that one can hear virtually every European language while browsing the streets; and so much more that grows this city on me every time I visit.

This time I knew I had limited time to walk around and the weather was not really complementing my anticipation, so I mounted a fish-eye lens (Walimex Pro Fish-Eye Objektiv 8 mm 1:3,5) on my Canon DSRL and shot a few photos. Here they are:
