MobX 2013 conference will take place in Berlin, Germany on September 13, 2013. And although it is Friday the 13th, it sure promises to be fun. The topics on mobile user experience and usability will be covering pretty much every mass used smartphone OS out there – iOS, Android, Blackberry 10 and Windows 8. There will be talks about enterprise mobility, multi-device world and… designing for Google Glass.
While Apple did offer a new map client on its current iOS 6, the user experience had still a lot to desire from. Having this in the back of my head, I was surprised to see a desktop client made available in OS X Mavericks. This surprise was a good one for many reasons, mainly because it made me think what the end game behind Apple’s heads is.
Starting from this January 2013 I will proactively dedicate few hours of my time each month to help good causes with their digital communication efforts. And this will be done FOR FREE (a.k.a Pro Bono).
We are about to enter a brand new year in our lives – 2013… In times like these we hope for newer trips down the happy lane – a new start for some, a great continuum of the status quo for others and prosperity in general.
