Up until yesterday I intended to show the way I saw Zurich in every bit of color the rainbow holds and the city deserves. Contrary to popular believe, the biggest Swiss city is not all about finance and posh boutiques. It has so much life in it that a cold and rainy February weekend does no justice to. It deserves the rays of the sun to fall on it 365 days in a year.
This mixture of old and new defines Berlin. It makes it different. It makes it Multikulti (as Berliners love to call it). It makes it a historical and architectural landmark everyone should visit. It makes it a place to be in a wonderful sunny day.
On my recent trip to Cologne (or Köln as it is originally meant to be) I shot a number of photos of the famous cathedral (Kölner Dom) in the city. The weather was very cloudy and it kind of felt right to have them in black and white. Well, the sky and the architecture shades certainly predisposed me to see the images in an applied Moriyama effect.
