I would call this book rather “Social Media for Upper Management” or something like that.”The Social Media Management Handbook” kind of gives the wrong first impression.
As every book nowadays about Social Media, this one does not tackle really the how and what in terms of actions to be taken. It is not a cookbook or a guide on how to deal with your smoking habit.
However, this book offers some great ideas on how it fits your organisation and which purposes you should consider. “Ideas generation” is the keyword here. Whether it is about Social CRM, policies, strategies or many other things, I am sure you will get plenty to ponder on.
So, if you are part of the upper-level management, c-suite, VPs etc., this book is for you. And yes, you do have to read it.
